DoranneDoranne Ashley B.V.M.S  M.R.C.V.S

Veterinary Surgeon

Doranne qualified from Glasgow University Vet School in 1997 and has worked in a variety of small animal and
mixed veterinary practices throughout her career.

Following a period of time working in England, Doranne moved home to her roots and after a long search for the perfect practice, is now fulfilling her dream to own her own veterinary practice and provide the local people of the west end of Glasgow and their pets with a gold standard service.

 

 

 


 

 

  Rachael_optRachael Krieger B.V.M.S  M.R.C.V.S

Veterinary Surgeon

Rachael is very excited to be part of the team at Ashley Vet Centre.

Originally from the USA and having recently graduated from the University of Glasgow Vet school, she is happy to have the opportunity to practice within the wonderful community that she came to know and love during her years of study.

Rachael enjoys pursuing her passion for fitness and spending time with her rescue bunny Noodle. She has a particular interest in treating the more exotic species but also loves dogs and cats and can’t resist a cuddle from our rabbit patients!

 

 


 

Kirsty Marshall B.V.M.S  M.R.C.V.S

Veterinary Surgeon

Kirsty qualified from Glasgow University Vet School in 2005 and has worked in a variety of small animal practices throughout her career, including a stint working as sole charge emergency clinician.

After a short career break to have her two children, Kirsty joined our practice in November 2017.  Kirsty is really enjoying being back at work and as well as being our resident acupuncturist, she has a special interest in soft tissue surgery.  Out with work Kirsty spends a lot of time with her young family but enjoys a relaxing swim whenever she has the chance.

 

 


Sandra Martin Nicolau M.R.C.V.S

Veterinary Surgeon

Sandra joined the Ashley Vet Centre family in March 2018.

Originally from Mallorca, she qualified at the Autonomous University of Barcelona in July 2016.

After working for a year in small animal practices in Barcelona, Sandra decided to embark on a new adventure and came
to Scotland to be a vet here. In her free time, Sandra is enjoying discovering this beautiful country and our Scottish culture.

 


  Katy Anderson B.V.M.S  M.R.C.V.S

   Veterinary Surgeon

Katy studied at Glasgow Vet School and graduated in 2013.

After spending the last few years working with small animals in West Dunbartonshire and Ayrshire, Katy joined
our team in April 2018 and has now settled back into the city.

Outside of work, Katy enjoys spending time with her dog and two guinea pigs, as well as playing in a brass band.

 

 


Robyn Lisle R.V.N 

Veterinary Nurse

Robyn joined us in June 2015 shortly after completing her degree in Veterinary Nursing at the Napier University in Edinburgh. She grew up spending time between England and Scotland, and is now happy to be settled north of the border! 

She has a special interest in exotics, lifelong healthcare for cats and dogs and loves to talk about her family
dog ‘Honey’ the Boxer/Staffordshire Terrier cross.  

Robyn really enjoys meeting the patients and their owners in her nurse clinics and is looking
forward to getting to know them all really well.

 

 


 Yasmin_optYasmin Flaherty

 Receptionist

Yasmin joined the Ashley Vets team in 2016. Her duties are primarily at reception but she also helps out with
some of the animal care duties behind the scenes.  Her favourite part of the job is chatting to all
the owners in reception and meeting all our adorable patients.

She is passionate about animal welfare and has her own two pet rats, Sparkle and Splinter, who she loves to spoil.

Yasmin is studying to be an Animal Care Assistant and is excited to use her new skills helping
our patients while they are in the hospital.

In her spare time, Yasmin enjoys going out for food and loves to go to the theatre.

 

 


Lauren Gray

Animal Care Assistant

Lauren joined the team back in 2016 as an Animal Care Assistant.  She is now a permanent member of staff and
glad to be joining us.  She achieved her qualification back in 2014 whilst working at the Glasgow Vet School.

She has a keen interest and passion for Reptiles and Small Furries and works weekends caring for all the reptiles
and small furries at the University of Glasgow teaching unit.

Lauren in her spare time enjoys spending time with her two spaniels Oliver and Sophie and her numerous cats.
