DoranneDoranne Ashley B.V.M.S  M.R.C.V.S

Veterinary Surgeon

Doranne qualified from Glasgow University Vet School in 1997 and has worked in a variety of small animal and
mixed veterinary practices throughout her career.

Following a period of time working in England, Doranne moved home to her roots and after a long search for the perfect practice, is now fulfilling her dream to own her own veterinary practice and provide the local people of the west end of Glasgow and their pets with a gold standard service.





Emma Fisher B.V.M.S  R.C.V.S

Veterinary Surgeon

Emma graduated from the Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies in Edinburgh, and gained post-qualifying experience with a small animal practice in Falkirk. She joins us as a general veterinary surgeon, and has a particular interest in cats and dogs.

Outwith work, Emma enjoys hill walking and NTV dancing.  Emma loves cats, and lives with Toast, her tortoiseshell, at home.




Claire Pollard B.V.M.S  M.R.C.V.S

Veterinary Surgeon

Claire is a local Glaswegian vet who qualified from Glasgow vet school in 2008.

 She started off her career working in mixed practice, treating both pets and farm animals in Wales and then more recently in New Zealand before coming back to Scotland to work in Ayrshire.  After completing a certificate in small animal medicine Claire transferred to solely small animal practice where she could concentrate on putting her skills into action working with pets.

Claire joined the Ashley Vets team in August 2019 and is really enjoying being back home in Glasgow.

  She enjoys all aspects of small animal work but is particularly interested in surgery.  She loves big dogs and has a ‘Rottie’ called Leah who she rescued during her time in Ayrshire.



Robyn Lisle R.V.N

Veterinary Nurse

Robyn joined us in June 2015 shortly after completing her degree in Veterinary Nursing at the Napier University in Edinburgh. She grew up spending time between England and Scotland, and is now happy to be settled north of the border! 

She has a special interest in exotics, lifelong healthcare for cats and dogs and loves to talk about her family
dog ‘Honey’ the Boxer/Staffordshire Terrier cross.  

Robyn really enjoys meeting the patients and their owners in her nurse clinics and is looking
forward to getting to know them all really well.



Lauren Gray

Animal Care Assistant

Lauren joined the team back in 2016 as an Animal Care Assistant.
She is now a permanent member of staff and glad to be joining us.
Lauren achieved her qualification back in 2014 whilst working at the Glasgow Vet School.

She has a keen interest and passion for Reptiles and Small Furries and works weekends caring for all the reptiles
and small furries at the University of Glasgow teaching unit.

Lauren in her spare time enjoys spending time with her two spaniels Oliver and Sophie and her numerous cats. 


Hayley Ainslie

Receptionist/Animal Care Assistant

You’ll meet Hayley in reception if you come in to see us.  She currently works as a receptionist however she gained her Animal Nursing Assistant qualification back in 2012 and has worked in both specialist and private practice.

Hayley has a keen interest in felines and is our resident crazy cat lady!  She is the proud owner of her own little cheeky ginger tabby called Bru.

In her spare time, Hayley enjoys exploring Scotland’s nature and loves music.
